    Cheap price but poor quailty

posted by wailun on 05/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good price for a PSP slim remote + headphones. Looks decent on the exterior. The remote control and headphones works as they should.
    Cons:
Build quality is poorer than average than other DX goods. Some buttons on the remote does not have a very good feel when presse...

    Nice pouch!

posted by wailun on 04/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Quite cheap for a product with the word "Sony" imprinted on it. Its black, with the logo "PSP" etched on the front side, and a "Sony" tag attached to the top. Looks identical to the real deal. This fits a PSP slim (or PSP-200)...
    Cons:
A PSP with crystal casing will not fit nicely into this pouch, unless you squeeze it real hard.

This remote is not meant for PSP slim!

posted by wailun on 04/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The build quailty is quite good, especially for the wires. The wires are long enough. The sound quailty is crystal clear. It looks good, and there is even a Sony and PSP logo, so it looks like a real OEM version instead of some cheap imitation.
    Cons:
The remote to headphones connector slot is rather loose. The buttons feels a bit flimsy to click. It does not come with a box...

    Good 9V Battery

posted by wailun on 04/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is a small little 9V battery, and it is the non-rechargable type. It has a decent amount of charge, good enough for normal general purpose usage. The build of the battery is quite good. For this price it is pretty much what you can get. The battery loo...
    Cons:
There are batteries of similar type out there that are cheaper by a bit, but those don't last as long also.

    Good and simple multimeter

posted by wailun on 03/18/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Comes in a box and plastic wrapped. Huge display. I use this to test electrical components as a student. It serves my purpose well enough.
    Cons:
Too big sized. Switch does not "click" perfectly well sometimes. Looks cheap.

    Great stuff

posted by wailun on 03/18/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Tested to work with K530i phone and Wii remote. See http://blogs.msdn.com/coding4fun/archive/2007/03/14/1879033.aspx on how to connect a Wii remote. Very slim. Looks nice. Price is okay. Good reception. Comes with a driver CD.
    Cons:
Have to install drivers for Windows XP to recognize this, which won't detect this out of the box.

    Nice little usb hub

posted by wailun on 03/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Useful little hub to get more USB ports or as an extension for those hard to reach ones. Small size and light weight. Just plug in and it works. All the ports are working well. Its cheap.
    Cons:
Cable length could be made a little longer, but that's not a problem. No extra power input if that's what you need. Not t...

    Cheap, working memory card

posted by wailun on 03/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Just plug in and it works like an original memory card. Works with almost all games that I tried so far. 64mb is more than enough for all sorts of save games. Much better than the original 8mb cards. Its cheap compared to the original one. Looks p...
    Cons:
Nothing really. It works as advertised so far.

Cheap and good component cable for PS3/PS2

posted by wailun on 03/10/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good piece of cable. I used it for my PS2 and it works perfectly fine. Very useful for improving the video quality. Picture looks much more clearer compared to the old composite cable. The quality of cable look quite decent as well.
    Cons:
Comes in a cheap looking box but who cares. Nothing else I can think of.

    Great price and good quality

posted by wailun on 02/29/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The quality of the cable is very decent. The price is great, as its difficult to find a comparable cable locally at this price. The image quality showed noticable improvements compared to the original composite cable that came with default Wii setup.
    Cons:
Delivery time to here (Singapore) is rather slow. Shipped on 31/1 but only received it on 29/2, which is way longer than the 7 ...
