    good quality for price

posted by widowmaker on 08/13/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Excellent value for money. I've purchased many knives from dx and they deliver every time. It has a good textured grip which can be used even for filing.
    Cons:
Doesn't come as sharp as I was hoping it would be. Nothing a little sharpening can't fix. A bit heavy, but some would argue tha...

    Great battery

posted by widowmaker on 04/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Exact same battery as the one provided in the Magicshine MJ808 light.
    Cons:
The cable running out of the battery pack itself seems a bit flimsy where the cable exits the battery pack, but it's fine if yo...

    Great light for the price

posted by widowmaker on 04/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
For this price, you cannot get a better light for the bike. Outperforms other lights several that are several times the price of this light. Optics provide good flood and spot for biking use.
    Cons:
Cable connection does not feel as solid as it could be. Cable comes out of the front of the light which can be a little bit awk...

    Perfect for portable devices

posted by widowmaker on 03/15/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent amplifier for portable devices driving large headphones like Grados. Response curve is very flat without bass boost.
    Cons:
Internal lithium means it cannot be replaced, but at this price you might as well just buy another one two years down the road.

    Easily worth $150USD

posted by widowmaker on 12/04/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Extremely high quality knife made in Solingen in Germany by Eickhorn. Very solidly built with no wobble and yet smooth and easy blade movement. Adequately sharp out of the box.
    Cons:
Clip is on upside down (by design) but I guess that's safer. You don't want someone walking down the street and stealth stab yo...

    Solidly built but not perfect

posted by widowmaker on 09/28/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Works as it should at full USB 2.0 speed. Looks elegant and is lightweight. Small and compact.
    Cons:
USB connector is questionably durable. Snap in retration of the USB connector may make it difficult to deploy. Better have some...

    Simple, cheap, effective

posted by widowmaker on 12/12/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Best light mount for flashlights I've seen so far. It's very adaptive and will fit most handlebars out there. It comes with a rubber spacer if needed.
    Cons:
Mount itself fastens very well to the bars, but the clamp to the light isn't all that great. It could lose its grip over time. ...

    Way above expectations

posted by widowmaker on 11/07/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Extremely well built. Has a very very solid feel to it. I was expecting some half quality built product, but it's the complete opposite. Very clear bright green dot. Actually kinda hurts the eyes to look directly at it for more than a couple seconds. Excell...
    Cons:
Works almost too well. I'm intimidated by the brightness. I'm trying to find fault in it and really, all i can think of is that...
