Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Easy drag and drop here, no crazy software involved. - Mac and PC compatible, as long as you have a TransFlash to USB or something, it's just a matter of drag and drop. - Interface is simple and easy to use and understand, great for kids (can be skinned i...
    Cons:
    - Slot for the TransFlash is a little tight, you will need fingernails to remove the TransFlash cards. - The cart itself is a b...

DX, best place for MicroSD cards!

posted by ziggotron on 11/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - The cheapest place for TransFlash cards is definitely DealExtreme, retailers and even eBay will charge exorbitant prices for the same thing compared to here. - Read speeds are acceptable. - Comes with an SD adaptor, great if you want to use it for your ca...
    Cons:
    - The build quality is a TAD cheap, but it's a great product nonetheless.

    Decent USB Hub

posted by ziggotron on 11/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Great stylish USB hub (looks better when you peel off the crappy sticker). - It's pretty thin and unobtrusive like other USB hubs. - Can be externally powered with an AC adaptor, if you really need to hook up passive external HDDs or other high powered US...
    Cons:
    - Doesn't include an AC adaptor so you can power other high powered USB devices. - The silver plastic trim looks cheap.

    Perfect for MacBooks

posted by ziggotron on 11/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Nice, black, minimalist case. - Fits MacBooks perfectly (not the Pro range). - Soft interior will protect the laptop from light bumps and scratches. - The materials used are of a pretty good quality, the zip works fine.
    Cons:
    - DealExtreme should probably offer more colours if available, but black keeps clean I guess.

DX, best place for MicroSD cards!

posted by ziggotron on 11/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - DX is the cheapest place you can find these suckers anywhere, incredible value for a 2GB TransFlash. - Includes handy adaptor for the PC, PS3, Camera etc. - Great for those who own DS game carts. - Works the same as the more expensive brands. - Also comes...
    Cons:
    - Build quality is a TAD on the cheap side, but it still does the job.

    Great Little Product.

posted by ziggotron on 11/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Miniaturised version of the TRC USB connection Apple has on its Dock, works exactly the same way. - Small enough to be carried around (to use Shuffle as thumb drive), useful for those who loved the original Shuffle design. - EXTREMELY cheap compared to pr...
    Cons:
    - Build quality looks a TAD cheap, other than that it's perfect.

    EXCELLENT!

posted by ziggotron on 11/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Great deal for an HDMI cable of 2M, DX will always be cheaper than retail stores and even eBay. - The build quality is excellent, it's got thick insulated cables.
    Cons:
    - Since it's got thick insulation, it is a bit less flexible. If you've got a cover for the ports at the back of your HDTV, it ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - The packaging itself is pretty good, contains basically everything you'll need to protect your iPod. - The screen protector itself is made up of a very thin film which will not leave any residue when removed. - The film is crystal clear, and is of a good...
    Cons:
    - It's not full protection of the iPod, but it does protect the main parts against scratches, the screen, and the back. - The f...
