    Handy for Launchpads and similar

posted by zinob on 12/16/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - OK build quality - really handy for breaking out male connectors, such as the ones on an TI-launchpad to a breadboard.
    Cons:
Build quality is not GREAT. not failed me so far and with no less than 40-cables it is not a big issue if one or two breaks.

    Pros:
    - Nice build quality - Snug but not tough connection - Flexible
    Cons:
    - Does not look quite like my original Nokia calbles on a close inspection, might ofc be because my old cables are, well, old.

Fairly good but a bit weak

posted by zinob on 12/16/2012 Certified Owner

    Pros:
The versatility of a gorilla pod is always great. You can bend the legs around something which would be to narrow to perch the camera on top of, if it falls it still hangs. Or you can cram the legs in to a tube or similar and hang the camera upside down. C...
    Cons:
This pod is a bit weak. My Casio EX-ZR100 weighs in at 205g (7.2oz) including battery and memory card and it has a clear tenden...

    Nice feel to it

posted by zinob on 06/30/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Small enough to carry in any bag or pocket - Sturdy - Nice feel to it, even painting and no rough edges.
    Cons:
    - No flat screwdriver - A bit on the expensive side - Sort of in the uncanny valley of sizes to big for the key-chain, to small...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Quite sturdy - Got most tools you need - It actually fits in your wallet - The wrenches actually works.. (for minor jobs)
    Cons:
    - The plastic case is way to flimsy. The card managed to cut its way through the case and the side of my wallet (wallet was anc...

    Good for the prize

posted by zinob on 04/07/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap and flexible Connectors seems to be of the right size, some of these cheap ones are either to big or to small but this one sits OK in all sockets i have tried this far.
    Cons:
The cable and the pull-guards on the connectors are a bit on the flimsy side. I would not use it for anything that needs pluggi...

Does not quite work for me

posted by zinob on 01/07/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It is cheap and DX was honestly the only store that would ship a HTC-3.5mm adapter to Sweden at the time of purchase. in short: + Cheap + Available
    Cons:
The 3.5 mm socket does not seem to be quite up top spec, the headphones have a tendency of slipping out more than with any othe...

    Pros:
Small. Extremely bright for its size Glowing tailcap.
