    Very good VGA->HDMI cable.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent adapter. Worked flawlessly under Ubuntu 12.04 Linux. Used it with SKU.227226 (HDMI Male to Male HD Cable - Black (5m)), no interference, crisp video. Ubuntu 12.04 recognized instantly the second screen, and it appeared correctly in the monitor(s) ...
    Cons:
Needs a USB port for power, and a little bit on the pricey side (if it's HDMI then it's pricey - seems to be the game name). I ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
No distortions, no interference, rugged, has a plastic sleeve woven on the cable. Has RFI traps on both ends. Worked OK sending HDMI video from a Linux laptop to a smart-TV.
    Cons:
Don't really know why, but it looks like anything that has anything to do with HDMI tends to be a little bit pricey. I think th...

    Pros:
This is a "Standard Video to HDMI" adapter, Wii oriented. It just WORKS: Video & audio come out of the TV beautifully. Just plugged it to the Wii and to the TV, selected the HDMI input and it was working. It even has a 3.5mm audio jack to feed...
    Cons:
    No cons. The price, maybe...

    Pros:
The cable worked flawlessly with my Samsung Galaxy S2, Plug & Play. Just connect the micro-USB to the phone, the USB and HDMI to your Smart-TV, and you're ready: Audio and video are duplicated in both screens/speaker sets. The lenght, 4 meter (~12ft for...
    Cons:
Well, no cons I can think of!

    Nice color-changing paint work.

    Pros:
Brings back memories of the '80s, arcades, etc!!! A really geeky product: Pacman, pills and ghosts appear as the cup heats up to its contents. The maze is always visible.
    Cons:
The cup contents need to be really hot, and the color-sensitive paint is in the upper side of the cup, which means it needs to ...

    More decorative than useful

    Pros:
It resembles the infamous Ctrl-Alt-Del all Windows (and older: DOS!) users are used to... Comes with a circuit-board like tray. Looks nice and appropriate on the computer desk! Obviously, if you're using the cups to drink, you won't see the key labels.
    Cons:
For other than coffee, or maybe tea, the cups feel a little undersized. No handle on the cups, so not really hot beverages.

    Basic night LED lamps.

    Pros:
Cheap, but it could be even cheaper, given the quality of the materials and this (http://dx.com/p/169733). Three units were shipped. Boxes smashed, but contents unharmed. No voltage selector needed, they run either on 110V or 220V. They're colourful... T...
    Cons:
US plug, had to plier-twist the terminals to make "australian like". Feeble plastic, I was scared it would break, but...

    My cat loves it.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's perfect for a cat, or a small puppy. My cat fits OK, my puppy does not. The kitty sleeps in it and loves it. The internal base is removable in order to wash it. The color is OK, not harsh (but pets don't really care).
    Cons:
According to my cat, it has no cons. Really. You can ask him!

    A must-have.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Got it, wired it, uploaded example "sketch" to my Arduino Mega, and boom: Worked flawlessly. Displays are red, LEDs are red-green (green glows less than red when using 3.3V, remember this), buttons are very responsive. A perfect I/O gadget, as u...
    Cons:
Only thing I would write about as a con is that if I would use this board as a main interface, the pin headers should be on the...

    Good liquid-soap dispenser.

posted by zxMarce on 03/02/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It works very well and it's refillable. It's cheaper than similar devices offered locally, which are not refillable and also ties you to a branded refill cartridge. You can use whatever soap you want with this. A good detail is that the on-off switch is cov...
    Cons:
The workings are not that smooth. When the soap tank is half-full, it takes three pumping cycles (put hand, wait for device to ...
