Pro: It gives a lot of light for very little money. It can be used at full power. I have tested the LED modules at full power, with good cooling, and they handle it well. All LED modules (and LEDs) can be used with less than indicated power, and the LEDs will be even more efficient this way. This means that this 70W module is better and brighter at 20W than a "20W module" would be. This 70W LED module would also have lower P-N junction temperature. At 1W the voltage is about 24V. As the current is increased the voltage increases slowly. No indication of thermal runaway were observed. Cons: none Other: It MUST have sufficient cooling for the power level it is used at. This is not a con, it applies for all LEDs. LEDs should be driven with a constant current supply instead of a constant voltage supply. The surface finish on the rear side (were cooling must be applied) is standard. This is one of my favorite LED modules.
