  • Good price, good quality, get these ones

    posted byclanrat on 12/28/2011

Individually packed, test hole in packaging, quality manufacturing, all units arrived alive, no leaks None that I can think of There are cheaper LR44 batteries on this site, but really, for the price difference, pay a little bit more and be that a... Read more

  • Large size and 0.1g resolution - very happy

    posted byclanrat on 12/28/2011

Nice large size of unit and tray. Has decent capacity. Accuracy is comparable to other units available to me. Tray doubles as lid when not using the unit. Can be hard to get the tray on as a lid lined up properly sometimes. Display is hard to see... Read more

  • 220 lumens? Doubtful, but is a nice little light

    posted byclanrat on 07/26/2010

Good size for a AA. Heavy wall aluminium construction will stand up to some serious abuse. Flush switch allows tailstand Simple operation with no modes to click through - on or off! Machining is a bit rough but anodizing is very smooth. Knurling a... Read more

  • A lot of light in a small package

    posted byclanrat on 07/26/2010

Nice build quality. Fit and finish is good. Anodizing has no noticeable flaws. Machining is decent and the threads engage reasonably well. Brightness on high is good, and the strobe is also very good. I like the flush button on this one - allows -... Read more

  • Excellent quality for the price

    posted byclanrat on 07/26/2010

I was pleasantly surprised by the superior fit and finish of this unit. The machining and surface finish are excellent. The brass coloured ring is a nice accent, and when you screw the battery hatch closed you can barely see the seam. Nice and on... Read more

Small, portable, battery powered, reasonably easy to use. Integrated multimeter functions Excellent display. Bright, clear, and easy to read from most angles. Comes with a carrying case. Averaging does not seem to work. Poor low signal level very... Read more

  • You can't lose with this little powerhouse

    posted byclanrat on 07/17/2010

This really is an excellent little scope for the price. It has a lot of features that are missing from my Teks that are 4x the price. Reasonable low signal level performance and the averaging works quite well. The bright display is easy to read in... Read more

  • These are excellent. Buy them now

    posted byclanrat on 09/05/2009

These represent really unbeatable value for people looking for tweezers for electronics and other assembly or technical tasks. I was sceptical when I ordered, and thought I'd take a chance. I was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived and of... Read more

  • OK accuracy, buggy firmware, and deaf as a post

    posted byclanrat on 02/17/2009

This unit is nice and small with a common power supply connector, internal batteries, and a standard SMA connector on it. Unit comes with a wideband UHF antenna (mine was labelled 400-470MHz) and a 120VAC power supply. In some of the menus the are... Read more
