  • Can be used as spotlight or floodlight

    posted bybhassett on 01/01/2016

Light color and brightness is very similar to a 50w halogen bulb. Useful tip: If you find the beam is too narrow, unscrew the front ring and turn the lens by 45 degrees, this converts to a very wide beam.

    Impression: Good replacement for halogen;

  • Works perfectly but board is difficult to use in a breadboard

    posted bybhassett on 12/01/2015

Pros: Works perfectly with all ESP8266 programs and tools that I have tried, especially NodeMCU Lua. Cons: The board was designed by an idiot. 1. It cannot be inserted into a breadboard because the serial pins are in the wrong position. To use in... Read more

    posted bybhassett on 01/27/2014

Quality is good, a fashion-conscious person would have no problems using this case in public. The phone is held very firmly by the 4 corners. All parts of the phone are protected when the cover is closed. The status LED is not visible when the is... Read more

  • Nice soft white colour

    posted bybhassett on 04/26/2013

The colour is very nice, with no blue glare that some LEDs have. The strip is covered by a soft transparent gel. The strip can be cut every 50mm (approx 2 inches) to create shorter strips. The + and - solder pads are available and labeled every is... Read more

  • Very good replacement for 50W halogen GU10

    posted bybhassett on 11/28/2011

Very good brightness and colour, no strange blue, yellow or green colours. Same brightness as a 50 watt halogen bulb. Lens holder (metal part) is not firmly joined to the main body and can come loose when removing the bulb from a socket. Do not in... Read more

  • Very versatile adaptor for US, China and Australia

    posted bybhassett on 12/16/2010

The prongs rotate to suit parallel-type (USA/Canada) or V-type (Australia). The socket is listed as UK, but seems to accept almost any type of plug, it definitely works with 2-pin european plugs. Build quality is good, and the indicator light is a... Read more

  • Works with Ubuntu

    posted bybhassett on 12/16/2010

This is probably the cheapest 802.11b/g adaptor that I can find. Verified working with WPA2 on an 802.11g network. Build quality seems good. This would never win a beauty contest. The unit is big, square and very plain. Because the unit is big, it... Read more

  • Works well with HTC Desire

    posted bybhassett on 12/13/2010

Fits the HTC Desire perfectly, even though the packaging refers only to the HTC G7. Surface is very nice, good smooth action with no loss of control. Includes a cloth to clean the screen, but this is not the best quality and leaves some particles... Read more
