Supply voltage for item 224838

  • ErofKem Saturday, December 14, 2013 8:58 PM Reply
On the page of item 224838 written, that this bike light have working voltage 8.4v. I buy this device, having plan to use two 18650 accumulators for it supply. In packing of received bike light I found "Product usage manual". Information in that document is different of that on dx.com. Description of modes differs of that on dx.com. And there were written, that bike light have voltage 5v. Which information is correct?

You should ask under the item itself.

There is one thread under that sku:

Since it has a USB plug, I suspect it will work with a range of voltages, from 5V to 8.4V.
What's up with the scrubbed LED driver IC markings?
What are they trying to hide?

Yes, it works with supply voltage from 5 to 8.4 volts. I didn't test it with more voltage.
But have known, that it is not allowed to connect with wrong polarity.
