I"m a newbie and very glad to join in this forum.
i'm planning to build my own light for photography and video.... I did try to pick 4-Mode 6A LED Driver Circuit Board for 2 or More XM-L Bicycle Headlamp / Flashlight (7~18V)[u]
to combine 2 or more 3 cree in the box for my light.

Does anyone give me any advices or any information to build this box for photography?

sku.231936 is the driver you are referring to.

The LEDs will need to be attached to fairly large heatsinks. I usually recommend at least 1 to 2 square inches of aluminum plate per watt of power. If you use forced air cooling (i.e. fans) you can reduce the size by a factor of about 3 to 5.

I'm not into photography, but I believe selecting high CRI LEDs will give you better portraits (i.e. better skin tones).

What's up with the scrubbed LED driver IC markings?
What are they trying to hide?
