System rejects payment by credit card

    I am posting here because au.dx won't let me open a ticket.
    1) I selected several items on au.dx
    2) went to pay and have decided to dump PayPal (useless service on buyer protection - there isn't one!)
    3) tried 5 times to pay by credit card.
    4) kept dumping me, telling me that it won't accept a + in the characters for telephone number.
    5) I repeatedly changed the phone number - no good keeps telling me there is a +
    6) The order and the 20 items now appear lost.
    Dx can you ?
    a) fix the problems and
    b) reinstate my checkout items?

    is the + in front of international country phone code? try this, delete browser cookies, restart browser, try again but instead of putting say +12 put 012 or just 12 then space, i don't put country code but then again i usually use paypal for payment
    Resistance is futile-give in to DX gadget craving!
    also a voluntary mod-be nice please!
