NEW-10BB (123088) battery specs requirements

  • savoulius Friday, April 11, 2014 11:59 PM Reply

Just got my hands on the NEW-10BB flashlight, on first sight seems like another great DX flashlight. The light shipped with the typical blue DX Ultrafire 16340 battery, rated at 880mAh (3.7V). I have an older DX 16340 which is rated at 1200mAh (3.7V). Is there any chance of damaging the flashlight circuits by using the higher mAh battery? Thanx in advance for any reply to this noob q.. :)

No, mAh only tells you how long the battery lasts, its voltage that has to be correct.
Neither of those battery's will have the advertised capacity, 16340 are usually around 6-700mAh at best.
