Is M Pai 809T cell phone FullHD?

  • Keckman Saturday, June 7, 2014 3:57 AM Reply
I thought i bought FullHD cell phone http://www.dx.com/p/m-pai-809t-mtk6592-octa-core-android-4-3-0-wcdma-bar-phone-w-5-0-ogs-fhd-fm-wi-fi-otg-gps-red-296977
But programs "Android System Info" and "Android Harware Info" tells it is not FullHD:

But then again "AnTuTu Benchmark" shows it is 1080x1920:

Which program can be trusted and what appears to be the correct value?

see if there is an updated version of the first app Android System Info
btw to the naked eye, HD and FHD look the same on a 5" screen, i wouldn't worry too much, in fact the FHD screen would have slower game performance because the cpu/gpu is the same but it's pushing way more pixels onscreen!

How can there be updated version of Android System Info? I just got the phone and downloaded the program from Google Play - of course it is the last version.

btw. I don't play games. I for example read e-books and if i buy FullHD i would like to get one.

But i conna check the screen with USB microscope. I put the mm ruler near the screen, take picture and count pixels...

There seems to be about 12 pixels in mm which means 1272 pixels in 10.6 cm which is the length of the screen. The width of the screen is 6.2 cm which means 744 pixels. So this is not a FullHD!! This is 744x1272 = 720x1280.

I have been fooled and dx have cheating information in their pages about this cell phone!

But Antutu tested: 1920*1080. Please look at picture 3.

I don't know but we never try to cheat any customers. We write the data based on the Antutu.

-you can make a screenshot on the device and check the size of the generated picture to see the realscreen size
-if antutu was pre installed, i suggest you to uninstall it and install it by yourself from playstore (i heard there are some cracked versions of antutu that are preinstalled with devices to fake hardware informations)

I ordered the same device and i hop it is a real full hd screen. If not i think i'll ask for a refund,

    hope this post helps you.
