PostNL - Sent to country of destination (~10 days)

    I Ordered 141217135041666699 on 2014-12-17 09:09:42 from eud.edx.com

    According to PostNL, the package is "Set to country of destination" since 10 days ago.

    According to PostNL shipping trought Romania should take 3-5 days, but this is almost twice the time, and i haven't got any updates yet.

    Can you guys give me some information about why this package is not even in route?
    Is it possible that got stuck somewhere or is this is package got held up by the customs (in Romania for ex.)?

    PostNL is very inconsistent. I've had packages arrive in less then 2 weeks, but I've been waiting over a month for the last one shipped with them. They all eventually arrived though.

    Try your tracking # here. http://www.17track.net/en/result/post.shtml

    17 track has more reliable tracking than PostNL.
    NO! I don't know why DX screwed up the site so badly.
    Ask them.

    I am exactly on the same schedule than the user that started this thread, and I have exactly the same questions.

    Would someone at dealextreme be so kind to give me an update or hint as to where my parcel is and when will I have it? I'm posting here because PostNL requests me to put all my queries to the parcel sender.

    Anyway, I'm also posting becuase I've seen that after doing so many users have updates in their parcel status shortly after. Let's see if the trick also works with me ;)

    Thanks @zltnvrs. Unfortunately, I'm even more worried now, because the track in that web page says that the parcel is in Spain since Jan. 6th, but I've contacted PostNL local partner (correos) , and they don't know nothing about it...aside that it left the netherlands on Jan the 2nd. They (correos) suggest me to contact PostNL, and they in turn redirect me to dealextreme...so here I am.

    Let's see. In any case, thank you very much for your kind post and the link !!! At least I've gained some more information.

    As gasbag11 said, performance of postNL is quite random. You might get your package quickly or might get stuck somewhere for a few weeks. My last order was stamped with a notice 'missent to Norway' on it when it came after ~6 weeks of waiting :P

    Thanks for your comment @nordicnurse. I wonder whether it's always PostNL or their local partners the ones to blame when the delay goes beyond their "standard deviation" delivery times, though.
    Anyway, I'll try to wait patiently...let's see if I succeed.
