Unable to review products

    Hello,

    I am unable to review products since 2016/5/10 17:16:52 (UTC).


    I have tested several software configurations and it does not work:

    1) On Windows 8.1 + Firefox 43.0.4, after clicking on the "Review" link,
    the page does not show the stars for the Price, Quality, Ease of use and
    Usefulness.

    2) On Windows 8.1 + Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.16384, after clicking on
    the "Review" link, the page does not show the stars for the Price,
    Quality, Ease of use and Usefulness.

    3) On Slackware 14.1 + Firefox 44.0, after clicking on the "Review" link,
    the page shows the stars but when clicking on them, the stars are not
    colored for the Price, Quality, Ease of use and Usefulness.


    It happens on the last products I bought:

    - "High Intensity Soldering Paste
    (20g)" from the order 160329001064520429

    - "JL0033 3.5mm TRS Audio Male Jack Connectors - Black (20PCS)" from the order 160511001069380214


    As I am not able to review, I am not able to get the corresponding DX points too.


    I have already submitted a support case to DX.

    If someone can add the review for me while I am waiting the fix in order I get my DX points, here are my reviews:

    a) My review for "High Intensity Soldering Paste
    (20g)"

    Rating:

    - Price: 5 stars

    - Quality: 5 stars

    - Ease of use and Usefulness: 5 stars

    - Usefulness: 5 stars

    Impression:

    - Good quality

    - Good price

    - Useful

    Title: Good quality, good price and useful soldering paste

    Content: This soldering paste is good quality, good price and useful. I have used my heat gun in order to solder a micro USB connector on my PCB.

    b) My review for "JL0033 3.5mm TRS Audio Male Jack Connectors - Black (20PCS)"

    Rating:

    - Price: 5 stars

    - Quality: 5 stars

    - Ease of use and Usefulness: 5 stars

    - Usefulness: 5 stars

    Impression:

    - Good quality

    - Good price

    - Useful

    Title: Good quality, good price and useful 3.5mm TRS audio male jack connectors

    Content:
    These 3.5mm TRS audio male jack connectors are good quality, good price and useful. I have
    used them to repair the headset of my computer. I had to solder three wires (left, right and GND).

    The review system seemed to be fixed last week, but apparently it's broken again. I'm now unable to see the stars again. 


    The IT guys have been "fixing" the New Arrivals page (even though there was nothing wrong with it), and as usually happens, they broke something else in the process. 

    NO! I don't know why DX screwed up the site so badly.
    Ask them.

    I got an answer from my support case submitted to DX.

    The solution is to clear the cache of my browser.

    On Slackware 14.1 + Firefox 44.0, I have followed these instructions:

    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache


    Well, I don't understand why this solution worked because my settings were: Preferences > Advanced > Network > Limit cache to 0 MB.

    So, it means that the cache should be empty and I thought that clearing it would be useless.

    It seems that I was wrong.


    Problem solved, I can now review products I bought :)

    I just cleared cache and I still can't see the stars to do a review. 

    NO! I don't know why DX screwed up the site so badly.
    Ask them.

    Yes, I was a bit lucky last time.

    I don't think the "clear cache" is a solution because today I am unable to review again.

    I was again able to review my product by clearing the cache of the web
    browser.
    But obviously, clearing cache is not enough in order to be able to
    review because I have already tried to do that a lot of times before.
    I guess that clicking on the support case link in the e-mail, then
    clearing the cache of my web browser, then opening an other tab in my
    browser to go to dx.com > My Orders then clicking on the Order
    Number,  then go to Write review get DXPoints > Review puts me in a
    state where I am able to review.
    That's the second time that I am able to fix this bug by following the
    above steps so you can bet that this is a valid workaround. Can you try and tell me if it works for you too?
