Does http://www.dx.com/p/nfc-rfid-rc522-rf-ic-card-sensor-rfid-reader-module-w-s50-card-keychain-for-arduino-403052 support 5V input as mentioned in specification or 3.3V as marked in PCB?

    -Operating voltage:3.3V
    - Interface logic level: 3.3V

Please post in product forum next time.

Thank you. I missed product forum because volumerate does not display such a link.

May I ask source for voltage information? IC datasheet, module manufacturer or other knowledge e.g. by using the product.

If product is for 3.3V only then it is not compatible with most Arduino boards and specification requires changes. Specification should be updated.

[I personally suspect that module's operating voltage is 3.3V and I/O have voltage dividers for 5V I/O inputs but I have not had time to check traces. Checked traces: I/O pins are directly connected to IC]
