Dodgy minimum division claim

  • sheepish Top 10 Forum Poster Sunday, July 16, 2017 6:19 PM Reply

    Other FeaturesMeasuring range / scale division: 0~10kg / 5g, 10~50kg / 10g

When the device is reading less than 10kg, for it to be able to show 5g divisions the display would need three digits after the decimal point (3 decimal places). It has just two.

Edit: Shame, DX. The pic I included vanished thanks to a bug in your Stupid New Forum Interface that you know about but have not fixed.

It's pic 4 in the product photos, which shows what I mentioned above.

Press the power button once, the device will show below interface. Keep pressing to change the unit to g .

I bet that photo would vanish if you try were to try pasting something really useful in there, like a SKU number.

Are you saying it shows a different precision for g than it does for kg? Your photo doesn't show that. Are you saying it only shows 5g precision when using grams, not kilograms?

Yes. It can't weigh light things with the unit of gram as it is a luggage scale.

    e.g.

    1225g

    1.225kg

But the photo shows it only displays 2 decimal places with kg, so it cannot show 1.225 kg.

I think you need to post a photo showing it can measure to 5 g.
