They are giving you the run-around! The IMEI has nothing to do with the frequency band. It is a 15 digit number unique to each phone for identification if stolen and to identify make, model, where made etc. You won't know what that number is until you open the package.

I don't know much about GMS but I doubt that has any relevance either. If the phone does not have the right frequency it will not work.

DX may be able to answer those questions if you want to wait for the answers but I think it a bit much to ask them to open a new sealed package to answer irrelevant questions about a phone that you probably won't buy. Why not just look for a phone that you know operates on the USA bands, as listed in the Wiki link I sent?... And get a new service! Why use a provider so ignorant or unwilling to answer a simple question?... and tell Pedro I said so!

Have you cancelled yet? Read the review here: https://www.androidheadlines.com/2017/03/oukitel-u16-max-android-smartphone-review.html

This phone is definitely NOT for U.S.A.

DX have other phones that are suitable for your networks. The first thing to look for in the specification is "Band Details". if Band 4 is not one of those listed in the LTE bands, it is probably not for you.

Go to- My Account -> My Orders -> click on the order number, this will take you to the Status page. If it is shown as fully shipped, it is too late. I don't have a current order and not sure of procedure but if I remember there is an "Available Actions" link on that page via which you can cancel... @ gasbag11 can you confirm that please?

I doubt there is another phone with similar specs to the Oukitel, so you will have to make some compromises. Choosing a phone is a time consuming job and only you know what you are looking for. Only one thing is imperative, BAND 4. Good luck.

Unfortunately, probably too late. They don't work weekends and tickets can take 2~3 days for a response. Your best bet now would be to try Live Chat first thing Monday morning, 8:00~ 8:30 Hong Kong time.

You can normally cancel the order with the "Available Actions" button, but once once it says "Lock order - Generating Shipment" or "Prepare Shipment", it's too late.

NO! I don't know why DX screwed up the site so badly.
    Ask them.
