List of ASSISTED knives!

Sadly the OP doesn't distinguish the two, just confuses the two. Such a pity. The thread later has some good reasons why that confusion should be strongly avoided. LOL on the typo - probably very fitting.

    1. If you actually read the thread, you will see that I clearly distinguish between assisted and full auto.

    2. What typo?

@prateek4 That's actually just a lock spring, I see no clear indication for spring assisted blade action.

Dude, you don't clearly distinguish between them in the OP. Instead you equate them. If you clearly address that problem in the OP in any of your later posts in this thread I cannot see it. Your later posts may in themselves distinguish them, but not very clearly for anyone reading your clear equating of them in the OP and thus believing they are the same.

Sorry to bother people but i really wanted to know if this knife is automatic/assisted or something. Basically, i want to know if it is possible to get it completely open just with the press/push of a button/lever or if it only opens partially or if it is fully manual. Thank you very much.

@Kradeon this one is automatic. Well not automatic you should say assisted knife. there is a lever you push it and it opens. These are sharp so you should be careful, though You will get used to it. If this is your first knife I say you should buy sku.33987 !!

Regards .. hope that helps. takecare.

    Thanks for the help :D
I've seen some videos around here and some knifes open completely and fast while others need a "wrist move" to finish opening, the one that i linked opens completely just with the lever?

Why do you recommend the sku.33987 ? :S

I'm also thinking about ordering this one too :http://www.dealextreme.com/p/mini-steel-manual-release-folding-sawtooth-knife-with-clip-22-2cm-full-length-34680

    what do you think?

Thank you again for all your help :)

Why? .. well ... Most people recommend sku.32577 but I like Boker's snake knife (sku.33987) Its black and It looks like a batman knife right from Dark Knight :P. Its just beautiful knife I prefer it over others and its not too expensive either. it depends on what you gonna use it for, How I see it the most knifes people buy from here are for collection and for hobby. So its in the end on the looks. So the BOKER knife is just amazingly top quality item a must buy.

Ty but my doubt persists, can this knife ( http://www.dealextreme.com/p/cool-steel-folding-pocket-knife-with-clip-carrying-pouch-black-58349 ) open only by using the lever or does it need a wrist move too?

    one more question:

why are all the photos and videos on this knife ( http://www.dealextreme.com/p/carbon-steel-manual-release-folding-knife-with-clip-22cm-full-length-18254 )

made using this other knife: ( http://www.dealextreme.com/p/mini-steel-manual-release-folding-knife-21-7cm-full-length-32578 )

    ? :S

i want the black (not grey) one with the "Boker" inscription, should i buy the second one or will i get the same knife if i buy the first one?

    Thank you
